"Blowing Out A Match" clocking in at 7 and a half minutes and fuck it is really awesome. Lots of warble and skittering hiss, a highly elaborate landscape of texture. D/S/Miller’s side forms a perfect fit with Hunted Creatures by using different methods to achieve an equally stimulating piece of work. The first track, “Blowing Out A Match,” utilizes warm static loops to create an almost dub-like feel, as if you found a dusty old imaginary Basic Channel 78 in grandpa’s attic. Ghostly half-voices, perhaps not even vocal at all, meander through the dense gray sky. - Foxy Digitalis
